American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and multiple certifications including TNCC and PALS.

Hospital emergency department setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
13-week contract

Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of experience in an ER setting required

Level 1 trauma experience is not required; however, first-time travelers must have Level 1 ER experience to be considered

Clean licensure record required — no licensure hits accepted

2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Travel experience is preferred but not required

Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; RTO exceeding one week will not be approved except under special circumstances, and no RTO requests will be approved after the initial submission
