About the Role
We are looking for dependable, outgoing, personable Team Leads who enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced team environment. Team Leads are hands-on members of the crew who help keep each shift running smoothly and take the lead when a Manager or Assistant Manager is not running the shift. The focus is making sure customers are taken care of, orders are served quickly and accurately, crew members know what needs to be done, and the store stays clean, safe and organized.
This is a part-time or full-time evening position that requires closing multiple times each week and weekend availability. Team Leads help train crew members, serve as keyholders, oversee pre-closing and closing tasks, and complete end-of-night cash counting. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service and is ready to take on more responsibility while staying hands-on with the team!
Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment and help create a great experience for every customer.
- Oversee crew members when a Manager or Assistant Manager is not running the shift, keeping the team focused on fast, accurate and friendly service.
- Help train crew members and give clear, positive direction on customer service, recipes, the Focus Point-of-Sale system, food preparation and cleaning standards.
- Serve fresh ice cream creations and other menu items while following ingredient and recipe cards accurately and consistently.
- Keep the lobby, service areas and back-of-house spaces clean, organized, safe and secure throughout the shift.
- Serve as a keyholder and oversee pre-closing and closing tasks, making sure required work is completed before the store is closed for the night.
- Count cash and complete required end-of-night cash procedures, and help address occasional customer or crew issues that need additional attention.
Compensation
- Starting pay is $16.50 per hour plus tips paid out weekly; with tips, Team Leads typically earn approximately $19 to $20 per hour total.
- Cash and credit card tips for each shift are split between the crew and paid weekly.
Location & Commitments
- We're located at 2910 Pine Lake Rd Suite P, Lincoln, NE 68516 (Southpointe Pavilions).
- Weekly hours can range from 15 to 35 hours depending on part-time or full-time availability. This is an evening position requiring closing multiple times per week and weekend availability.
Candidate Requirements
- A food handlers permit is required - if needed, we will help you through that process.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills - be outgoing, helpful and professional with customers and co-workers.
- Dependable and comfortable leading crew members, serving as a keyholder and handling closing cash accurately.
- Availability to work evening shifts, close the store multiple times each week and work weekends.
- The ability to work up to 8 hours a day on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs.
- A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example are a must!
