Job Description
What we are looking for Self-driven, technically strong, Senior DevOps Engineer.
Years of Experience ~ 8 years of technical hands-on experience
- 5 years of development / automation experience in development, cloud, devops, security or related field
- Experience deploying and running enterprise cloud infrastructure, preferably with GCP
- Knowledge of Development Tool chain to enable/support CI/CD model
- Software engineering background and a strong understanding of systems internals
- Experience completing a full development lifecycle – SDLC
- Proven capability for critical thinking, problem solving and the patience to see hard problems through to the end
- Experience working with mature development practices and tools for source control, security, and deployment
- Hands-on in Automation (Groovy, Terraform, Python) or any scripting/programing language
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / Helm/ Docker/ Kubernetes/ Prometheus/ ELK/ Bash/ Python
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving application and system related issues on live environments
- Application deployment and configuration management strongly desired
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Improve tooling, processes, security and infrastructure that support all cloud environments
- Identify, design and develop automation solutions to create, manage and improve cloud infrastructure, builds and deployments.
- Lead from Proof of Concept to Implementation of new devops tools and solutions.
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of infrastructure from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
- Strong Code Development (Ansible, Terraform, Python) and do peer code reviews on a daily basis
- Own critical infrastructure components or systems, and continuously work to improve them
- Dive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for failure patterns and driving resolution
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience
