The Analyst, Profitability & Branch Transformation supports enterprise initiatives focused on improving branch profitability, operational efficiency, and performance visibility across the distribution network. This role analyzes financial and operational data, develops reporting and dashboards, and provides insights that enable leadership and branch teams to drive cost-to-serve improvements, margin expansion, and productivity gains. The Analyst works cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Transformation teams to support branch-level performance tracking, KPI development, and execution of transformation initiatives. This role is critical in translating data into actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes across COD and DOD branches.
Position Responsibilities May include;
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards to track branch profitability and operational KPIs (e.g., margin, cost-to-serve, order efficiency)
- Support analysis of financial and operational performance across branches to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Assist in building and maintaining Branch Profile dashboards and performance views used by leadership and branch teams
- Analyze drivers of profitability, including pricing, product mix, channel mix, and operational execution
- Support development of KPI frameworks and definitions aligned to enterprise profitability initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support leadership decision-making and transformation initiatives
- Support tracking and reporting of transformation initiatives, including performance against targets and expected outcomes
- Contribute to development of business cases, ROI analyses, and performance tracking for new initiatives
- Assist in preparing materials for leadership reviews, operating cadences, and executive presentations

- Working knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar)
- Understanding of financial metrics (e.g., margin, SG&A, cost-to-serve) and operational KPIs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Competency:
Experience:
- 2–5+ years of experience in analytics, finance, business operations, or a related field
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data analysis to support business decision-making
- Experience working with financial and/or operational data in a business environment
- Experience supporting performance tracking or KPI development initiatives preferred
- Exposure to distribution, supply chain, or branch operations environments preferred
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data tools (Excel, SQL) preferred
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects or transformation initiatives is a plus
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field required
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Analytics, Finance, or Data Science) preferred
- Relevant certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or finance (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, CFA, or similar) are a plus
