Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Class B Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, or products safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, box trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Transport materials, equipment, or products to and from job sites and customer locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required DOT documentation.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and mileage records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
- Keep vehicles clean and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Assist with loading, unloading, or general labor duties as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a positive manner.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to operate manual or automatic transmission vehicles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work as needed.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating dump trucks, roll-off trucks, concrete mixers, or delivery trucks.
- Air Brake Endorsement.
- Tanker Endorsement (if applicable).
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Experience in construction, building materials, or industrial deliveries.
