Parts Counter Salesperson

(The following duties for the position listed shall include but are not limited to:)

Greet and assist all guests with an attitude of service while suggesting additional products to ensure a great buying and riding experience.

Review all pending special orders and follow-up with guest on arrival or E.T.A. of item.

Maintain apparel sales floor and specific assigned section. (clean, price label, organized, older or overstocked inventory placed on sale & merchandised in an appealing manner.)

Ensure a proper handover of a guest from all Motorcycle sales personnel also log, provide business cards and follow-up.

Assist guests with returns or exchanges.

Attain minimum A.I. sales goal monthly by fully utilizing all available resources.

Review daily checklist.

Complete all online O.E.M. and Product training pertinent to position.

Serve as back-up cashier.

Monitor all inventory and report suspicious activity such as theft to manager immediately.

Research/stay up to date with all current model year protective gear.

Continually review basic selling skills and advance closing techniques.

Prepare station with all necessary Parts/Apparel catalogues for efficiency.

Communicate to manager inventory improvement ideas.

Assist parts counter with S.O. pick-ups.

Process warranty claims on products.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee will predominantly be walking or standing.
- Required to be able to talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel;
- Reach with hands and arms;
- Climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
QUALIFICATIONS

Previous motorcycle or automobile service experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

This position reports directly to the Parts Manager.
