About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of our credit union branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, a passion for member service, and the ability to develop and support a high-performing team while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all branch operations and ensure exceptional member service.
- Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve individual and branch goals.
- Manage branch performance, including deposits, loans, and member growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Handle complex member issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Monitor branch security, risk management, and audit requirements.
- Foster business development opportunities within the community.
- Prepare and analyze branch reports and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Previous management experience is required.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and member service skills.
- Banking, credit union, or financial services experience preferred.
- Must be able and willing to travel between our Stamford and Norwalk, CT branch locations as business needs require.
- Reliable transportation required.
