Our healthcare division is one of the most established in the region, with longstanding relationships across nearly every major health system. We're looking for an experienced sales professional to build on that foundation while expanding our presence throughout the healthcare market.
What You'll Do
As our Healthcare Account Executive, you'll serve as the primary relationship manager for healthcare organizations across the region. You'll inherit an established portfolio of active healthcare accounts while developing new opportunities with hospitals, outpatient facilities, medical office buildings, physician groups, and healthcare developers.
This is a highly strategic, relationship-driven role requiring someone who can confidently navigate complex organizations, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and build trust with everyone from facilities managers to executive leadership.
Account Management + Business Development
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of enterprise healthcare accounts
- Identify new opportunities within existing health systems while pursuing strategic new business
- Build relationships with facilities, construction, procurement, clinical leadership, and executive stakeholders
- Partner with architects, interior designers, contractors, and commercial real estate professionals involved in healthcare projects
- Position Spaces Group as a trusted advisor through a consultative sales approach
- Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and healthcare organizations
Sales Execution
- Lead discovery meetings to understand operational, clinical, and workplace needs
- Develop strategic furniture solutions aligned with client goals, budgets, and project timelines
- Prepare accurate proposals, pricing, and presentations
- Coordinate closely with design, project management, installation, customer service, and manufacturer partners to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Serve as the client's advocate from initial conversation through final installation
- Maintain strong communication throughout every phase of each project
Healthcare Market Expertise
- Navigate purchasing through Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), cooperative purchasing contracts, and healthcare procurement processes
- Understand healthcare capital planning, renovation cycles, and project funding
- Identify opportunities across acute care, ambulatory care, physician practices, administrative offices, and specialty healthcare environments
- Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, regulations, and market developments that impact client decision-making
Planning + Performance
- Develop strategic account plans for major healthcare systems
- Maintain an active pipeline and accurate sales forecasting
- Meet quarterly and annual sales and profitability goals
- Track opportunities, project activity, and customer interactions within CRM
- Collaborate with manufacturer partners to maximize growth opportunities
Professional Development
- Build advanced knowledge of MillerKnoll Healthcare and open-line manufacturers
- Become proficient in CAP, NetSuite, and other industry software
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and healthcare industry education
- Continuously expand product knowledge across furniture, architectural interiors, and workplace solutions
- Quickly develop expertise in healthcare furniture applications, codes, products, and clinical environments across MillerKnoll Healthcare and open-line manufacturers
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with manufacturer representatives, leveraging their expertise to support strategic account growth, product specification, and customer education
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer training, healthcare industry education, and product launches to remain a trusted advisor to clients

What You Bring
- 5–7+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in commercial furniture or related interior products including flooring, lighting, architectural products, or building materials
- Demonstrated experience managing complex enterprise accounts and long sales cycles
- Existing relationships within healthcare systems, architectural & design firms, commercial real estate, and healthcare construction communities
- Experience selling through Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), cooperative contracts, or healthcare procurement channels
- Ability to confidently engage everyone from facilities and maintenance leaders to C-suite executives
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex products, technical solutions, and industry-specific applications
- Willingness to become an expert in healthcare furniture, clinical environments, and manufacturer product portfolios
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturer representatives and cross-functional partners to develop winning solutions for clients
- Exceptional organization, time management, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage numerous opportunities simultaneously
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Ability to read architectural drawings and construction documents preferred
- Mastery of Microsoft Office; experience with CAP, NetSuite, or CRM software is a plus
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed
