JOB SUMMARY
IMP is a rapidly growing medical and recreational cannabis processing center specializing in top-quality cannabis extracts with a solid focus on manufacturing a broad range of high-quality products within our brand and across multiple brand lines. The Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the work activities of other Information Technology Technicians and as a senior worker performing information technology technician assignments which are recognized as the most complex.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as the lead technician for designated site; provides first and second level technical support to users concerning hardware, software, and networking problems. Escalates system problems to IT management, as necessary.
- Performs all functions required to install, configure, and evaluate computer software or upgrades on company owned systems, including tablets, laptops, and desktops.
- Installs and maintains audio/video technology; including but not limited to digital projectors, digital signage displays, and wireless presentation hardware / software.
- Installation, service, troubleshooting, and programming of commercial / enterprise-wide access control systems, and IP CCTV systems.
- User account maintenance to include Google, Microsoft (M365, On Prem AD), Honeywell Door Access
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's infrastructure and its protocols (DNS, IP routing, VLANs, etc.).
- Maintain network equipment to include routers, switches, and access points.
- Troubleshoots, installs, and configures PC hardware such as memory, adapter cards, printers, etc.
- Prepares and coordinates sending equipment out for warranty repair.
- Helps implement systems to ensure ongoing technology maintenance and enhancements follow best practice and industry standards.
- Assists with network support issues such as installation and maintenance of network printers, Network Video Recorders, Network Servers, and NAS devices.
- Assists with technology planning and implementation including researching hardware and software applications, standards development, and documentation.
- Evaluates requests for information technology services and builds a plan of action for request.
- Coordinates work by scheduling assignments and directing the work of other Information Technology Technicians.
- Assures the quantity and quality of the workflow by overseeing Information Technology Technicians’ adherence to established methods and procedures.
- Supervises the Information Technology Technician(s).
- Performs other related tasks as required.
- Rotation of after-hours / On-Call duty

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in computer science, information technology, related field or equivalent experience.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
