Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician or Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various landscaping and maintenance tasks. This role will mainly focus on installation services such as retaining walls and assisting irrigation with installation as needed. We work in the winter when the weather makes sense to as well as snow removal services for all of our commercial customers.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and excavators for various installation projects
- Assist in hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and tools to ensure safety and functionality
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding installations
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction-related tasks
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and excavators safely and effectively
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening practices, and tree care techniques
- Experience with snow plowing, mowing, tree trimming, hardscape installation, and irrigation systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve project goals
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
