Youth Sports & Child Development Coach – Spokane, WA
Bring Joy. Build Confidence. Inspire Little Athletes.
Help introduce preschoolers to their very first experience with sports while supporting a meaningful partnership with the Spokane tribe. This is a perfect opportunity for you if you light up around young kids, love bringing energy to playtime, and want to make a meaningful impact through sports.
Over the course of an 8-week program, coaches will travel to the Spokane Tribe in Wellpinit, WA to work with preschool students ages 2–5 and their incredible teachers, introducing young learners to soccer and fundamental sports movements through fun, play-based activities. Every Tuesday morning, you’ll lead games filled with imagination, movement, and laughter—helping children build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a lifelong love of being active.
At Skyhawks Sports, our mission is to teach life skills through sports. Even our youngest athletes learn important lessons through play, and our coaches are at the heart of that experience. We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals who can connect with young children and turn every class into a positive, memorable experience.
Schedule & Perks
Coaches will depart Spokane each Tuesday at 8:45am to arrive in Wellpinit by 9:45am, with sessions running until 12:00pm. Because the Spokane Tribe location is about an hour from Spokane, coaches are paid for drive time and receive a $50 weekly gas stipend.
Additional coaching opportunities are also available in Spokane on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 4:30pm–7:30pm for those looking to add more hours.
