Job Description
The Art Production Manager is a full-time role responsible for supervising all artwork operations including the art setup, teardown, daily operations, and maintenance. You will assist the General Manager in leading and training the team to embody Wonderspaces’ mission and values, starting with the team’s safety. All managers regularly lead operating shifts. Additional responsibilities may include inventory management, venue maintenance, and artwork logistics. A close attention to detail, superior management skills, and a dedication to implementing and improving best practices is vital to success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and execute the artwork operations, maintenance, and logistics
- Supervise, train, and develop the team alongside the General Manager
- Lead operating shifts with responsibility for the overall show experience across ticketing, reception, customer service, artwork and venue maintenance, and bar and shop sales
- Lead & direct teams of guides in the safe install and maintenance of artwork and venue
- Adhere to and improve company standards and processes
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 2+ years of management experience
- Experience in the arts or events preferred
- Flexible schedule, ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
