Position Overview
AEM North America is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to lead engagement with key AI and HPC customers in the Bay Area. This role is responsible for owning and expanding relationships with top-tier semiconductor companies, hyperscalers, and ecosystem partners, driving adoption of advanced test, thermal, and automation solutions supporting next-generation compute platforms. This is a highly strategic role operating at the intersection of semiconductor innovation, AI infrastructure scaling, and high-volume manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute strategic account plans for leading AI / HPC customers, aligning AEM’s solutions with customer technology roadmaps
- Drive design-in and qualification of AEM solutions across next-generation GPU, accelerator, and compute platforms
- Build and maintain multi-level relationships across engineering, operations, procurement, and executive leadership
- Lead complex, multi-million dollar deal cycles involving capital equipment, long lead-time planning, and global deployments
- Identify and develop growth opportunities across compute, storage, networking, and AI infrastructure ecosystems
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and applications teams to deliver differentiated customer solutions
- Coordinate executive-level engagement and strengthen AEM’s position as a strategic partner
- Provide market insight into AI, deep learning, and HPC trends to anticipate customer needs and influence internal strategy
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic account management or enterprise sales within semiconductor capital equipment or adjacent markets
- Strong background in semiconductor test, thermal, handling, or automation solutions
- Proven success managing large, complex global accounts and closing multi-million dollar deals
- Experience navigating long sales cycles, including design-in and qualification processes
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical stakeholders and executive leadership
- Experience supporting AI, HPC, or high-performance compute ecosystems
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience working with leading AI / semiconductor companies (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD, hyperscalers)
- Familiarity with advanced packaging, HBM, or high-performance compute architectures
- Established network within the Bay Area semiconductor ecosystem

- Base Salary Range: $225,000 – $235,000 annually
