The Victorian Tea Room is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is a Saturday and Sunday position supporting our afternoon tea service in our charming tea room environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, enjoys working behind the scenes, and takes pride in helping create a wonderful experience for our guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing sandwiches and food items for tea service
- Assisting with preparation of our tiered tea service displays
- Kitchen organization and maintaining a clean workspace
- Washing dishes and completing kitchen cleanup
- Assisting with general kitchen prep as needed
Qualifications:
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Food preparation or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
Schedule:
- Saturdays and Sundays
- Hours based on tea room service schedule
