BOTTOM LINE RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for managing the paint line in the Finish Department. Accomplished through use of spray equipment and applicators. Prepare surfaces for paint and apply protective coatings to parts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare parts for painting.
Paint each part according to engineering/production specifications.
Measure and mix paint according to specifications.
Observe operations and gauges in paint line and oven.
Clean and maintain the paint line and spray guns.
Dispose of paint and chemicals according to company policy.
Wear required personal protective equipment per company policy.
Follow all company polices as they relate to paint waste disposal and storage.
Records production data as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must pass a medical respirator questionnaire
2. Must be comfortable wearing half or full-face mask for prolonged periods of time
3. Autobody experience a plus
4. Knowledge of mixing paint and ratios a plus
5. Positive attitude
**Pay will be determined by experience and skill set.
