Role Overview:
As a Caregiver / HHA at Assisting Hands Central New Jersey, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to our clients during various shifts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. Working on-site, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful connections and contribute significantly to the quality of life of those you support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.

Help with light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Document client progress and report any changes in their condition to the care team.

Collaborate with the supervising nurse and healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or equivalent certification.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude.

Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Bonus If You:
- Have previous experience working with elderly or disabled clients.

Possess additional certifications, such as CPR or First Aid.

Are bilingual or have experience with diverse populations.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position offers both part-time and full-time availability, with shifts available throughout the week, including weekends.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Edison, New Jersey.
