The Role
This role is built around courtroom activities. Hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial work are a regular part of the caseload here, not an occasional exception. We are looking for attorneys who are familiar with trials, but are wanting a more active role in highly rewarding and challenging matters
You will be supported by experienced senior attorneys, while building your knowledge of probate, guardianship/conservatorship, financial exploitation, elder abuse, fiduciary misconduct and highly contested estates, wills, and trusts.
Responsibilities
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery in support of your own matters
- Represent clients at mediations and settlement conferences
- Handle matters involving trust and estate disputes, guardianships, conservatorships, and elder financial exploitation
- Help decide which clients and cases to take
- Communicate directly with clients on strategy and case status
- Help evaluate larger cases and shape litigation strategy alongside senior attorneys
Who Should Apply
- Attorneys with 2+ years of civil litigation experience who want a more rewarding practice and more direct courtroom responsibility than their current role provides
- Attorneys with existing probate or trust litigation experience looking for a fully specialized practice
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in Arizona, in good standing
- 2+ years of experience in civil or probate litigation
- Comfortable arguing in court and taking depositions, or ready to build that skill quickly with direct mentorship
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Comfortable navigating sensitive, high-emotion family and fiduciary disputes
- Organized and able to manage a busy caseload
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $120,000–$160,000, based on experience
