Our products include authentic Pemmican Bars made of Bison and Beef meats mixed with fruit and organic spices, and products of small batched Wild Rice, Wild Chokecherry Jelly and Creamy Almond Butter, Maple Syrupand Wild Rice, and more indigenous small batched products such creamy hot sauces and honey glazed walnuts.
Also handcrafted products such as: artisan soaps, body oils and seasonal sugar scrubs and locally-sourced beeswax lip balms from a real beekeeper in Temecula.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Market Sales Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about indigenous culture, handmade products, and engaging with a diverse customer base at the farmers' market. You’ll represent Aerides General Store, promote our unique offerings, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers with warmth and knowledge about our products, including indigenous goods for their pantry, handmade soaps, and other artisanal & sustainable goods. Share the story and cultural significance behind our items to educate and connect with shoppers. Set up and maintain an attractive market stall display, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing. Handle sales transactions, including cash, card payments, and providing change accurately. Monitor inventory levels at the market and communicate restocking needs to the store manager.
Answer customer questions about product ingredients, crafting processes, and where the products are from and which tribe Aerides General Store supports. Promote special offers or seasonal items to boost sales. Maintain a clean and tidy stall throughout market hours, adhering to health and safety standards. Assist with market opening and closing tasks, including transporting goods to and from the stall as needed.
Qualifications: Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent customer service skills. Interest in or knowledge of American Indian culture and traditions (preferred but not required—willingness to learn is a must!). Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions typical of a farmers' market. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (e.g., product boxes or display materials). Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends or market days as scheduled.
