Duties
- Perform professional manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements using the latest techniques and products
- Apply nail polish, gel, acrylics, and other decorative finishes with precision and artistry
- Educate clients on nail care routines, maintenance, and aftercare to promote healthy nails
- Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or hair extensions when qualified
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, or beauty tools to enhance client satisfaction and store sales
- Stay current with industry trends in color theory, nail art design, and new treatment methods to provide innovative services
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology (as required by local regulations)
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails and related treatments
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and understand their preferences
- Familiarity with color theory, nail care techniques, and advanced treatments such as dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments is a plus
- Ability to perform retail math for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
