As we build our team, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist who is interested in growing with the company and eventually stepping into a supervisory position.
Position Overview:
This is a unique opportunity to start as a part-time Physical Therapist in the Thornton, CO area. As the company expands and your role evolves, you will transition to full-time work and have the chance to move into a leadership role, supervising a team of therapists as the patient base grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home physical therapy services , focusing on individualized care, progress tracking, and goal setting
- Perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and adjust interventions based on patient progress
- Educate the patient and family members on therapeutic exercises, mobility strategies, and home safety
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Work closely with company leadership to help shape the future of the physical therapy department
- Grow into a supervisory role, where you will mentor and manage additional therapists as the patient base increases
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a home healthcare or similar setting (experience working with individual patients one-on-one is a plus)
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage patient care
- Interest in leadership and a desire to grow into a supervisory role
- Experience with patient record-keeping software or electronic health records (EHR) is preferred
