The Director, U.S. Government Affairs is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide federal government affairs, public policy, regulatory engagement, and stakeholder management strategies across FUJIFILM’s U.S. portfolio of businesses.
This role serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and is responsible for identifying legislative, regulatory, geopolitical, reputational, and business risks; developing advocacy strategies to mitigate those risks; and advancing policy initiatives that support growth, innovation, domestic manufacturing, healthcare access, trade competitiveness, and supply chain security.
The Director will assist in high-level engagement with Congress, the Executive Branch, federal agencies, trade associations, industry coalitions, and other key stakeholders while partnering closely with subsidiary leadership teams to align public policy priorities with business objectives.
This position requires an accomplished government affairs leader with demonstrated success influencing complex public policy issues, leading cross-functional initiatives, managing external consultants and advocacy organizations, and operating effectively within a highly matrixed, multinational organization.
This role is a critical strategic partner to C-suite executives and board members, directly influencing high-stakes decisions that drive FUJIFILM’s long-term business strategy and market leadership across multiple regulated industries and geographies.
Works on enterprise-wide, multi-jurisdictional government affairs initiatives encompassing complex regulatory, geopolitical, and trade risks impacting FUJIFILM’s global business resilience and innovation pipelines across healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and technology sectors.
Current lobbying experience and registration is required with experience lobbying in the semiconductor or global trade field.
