North Jersey After-Hours Commercial Response Technician (1099 Contractor)

About the Opportunity
The Apex Commercial Response Team (ACRT) is expanding throughout New Jersey.
We are building a statewide network of after-hours commercial responders to service retail, restaurant, distribution, and commercial facilities after closing and before opening.
Opportunities may include locations associated with nationally recognized brands such as Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Frito-Lay, Pepsi, and similar commercial accounts.
This is on-call work. You choose which assignments you accept.
No set schedule. No minimum commitment.
Actively Seeking Coverage In:
Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Morris, Sussex, and Warren Counties
Typical Schedule
- Most assignments occur between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM
- Many calls are received near store closing time
- Work is typically completed after business hours and before the location reopens
- Responders choose which assignments they accept
Typical Responsibilities
- After-hours restroom and facility response
- Spill response and cleanup
- Sanitation and disinfection
- Small facility clean-ups
- Emergency commercial service calls
- Before and after photo documentation
- Following site access and security procedures
- Communicating arrival and completion status
Compensation
Tier 1 – Basic Response: $100
Tier 2 – Moderate Response: $150
Tier 3 – Major Response: $200+
Additional compensation may be approved for larger projects exceeding one hour.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone with camera
- Ability to work independently
- Professional appearance and communication
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Must provide your own cleaning supplies and basic PPE
- Must be dependable and responsive when accepting assignments
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight assignments
