Position Summary
Office Guest Services Associate is responsible for providing friendly, professional guest service while supporting daily operations of the campground office, reservations, and camp store. This role serves as one of the primary points of contact for guests from reservation through check-out, helping ensure every guest has a positive and enjoyable camping experience.
The Guest Services Associate assists with reservations, check-ins, retail sales, guest inquiries, and campground information while maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment. This position plays an important role in delivering exceptional hospitality and supporting smooth campground operations.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Front Desk Operations
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Provide information about campground amenities, activities, site locations, and local attractions.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, or requests in a helpful and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office and front desk area.
- Help ensure guests feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their stay.
Reservations & Booking Assistance
- Assist guests with campground reservations by phone, online, and in person.
- Enter and manage reservation information accurately in the reservation system.
- Provide guests with details about site types, lodging options, rates, and campground policies.
- Help ensure reservations, site assignments, and guest information are accurate.
- Process payments, deposits, and refunds according to campground policies.
- Maintain organized and accurate guest reservation records.
Camp Store & Retail Support
- Assist with daily operations of the campground camp store.
- Process retail purchases and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Help keep the store clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Assist guests with selecting camping supplies, snacks, merchandise, and other items.
- Support inventory organization and restocking of store merchandise.
- Promote campground merchandise and retail items to guests.
Communication & Team Coordination
- Communicate guest requests or service needs to maintenance, housekeeping, or management as needed.
- Work cooperatively with campground staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide helpful information to guests regarding campground activities and events.
- Assist with distributing guest communications such as activity schedules or campground updates.
Policies & Procedures
- Follow campground policies, procedures, and guest service standards.
- Ensure accurate handling of financial transactions including reservations and store purchases.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and campground business operations.
- Support a safe, professional, and welcoming campground environment.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at the front desk or retail counter.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced guest service environment.
Work Environment
This position works primarily in the campground office and camp store. The role may require evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak camping season and busy check-in periods.
Goal of the Position
To provide exceptional guest service, accurate reservations, and helpful support to campground visitors while contributing to a welcoming and positive camping experience.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
