Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues. Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, and brake repair.
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, and transmissions.
- Conduct inspections and alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Work with schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Repair diesel engines and air brake systems as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on larger repair projects, including auto body repair and welding tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge related to vehicles.
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Experience in working with GM vehicles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $5.00 per hour
