Salary:
No degree - $10 per hour
Associate's degree - $12 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides intrusive academic and tutorial support in designated courses to participants through one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions.
- Provides mentoring and motivational support to participants.
- Assists participants with developing the essential study skills for academic success.
- Learning sessions may be held virtually at the Academic Success Center or an on-campus location designated by the Associate Director for Academic Success.
- Maintains accurate records of learning sessions.
- Serves as a role model for all students seeking academic assistance.
- Be punctual for all scheduled learning sessions.
- Prepares supplemental materials.
- Helps procure and organize teaching materials.
- Attends tutor training sessions regularly and scheduled staff meetings.
- Performs any other related duties as required or assigned to achieve project goals and objectives.
Required Education:
- At least 2 years of undergraduate studies. Must attach a copy of transcript(s).
Required Experience:
- Must have earned a B or higher in the subject(s) to work in.
- Must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate study.
Preferred Education:
- Associate or advanced degree
Preferred Experience:
- Tutoring and/or teaching experience.
Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
