ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for Medical/Sports Massage Therapists who specialize in massage treatments for athletes and highly active individuals. Over 1 out of every 3 guests who come into PALOMA are looking for treatment plans to reduce pain, improve recovery, increase their overall sense of well-being, and enhance their physical and mental performance. The Medical/Sports Massage Therapist provides various massage therapy services and create customized treatment plans to support our clients’ goals.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Assess a patients range of movement and conclude if they are experiencing any pain or dysfunction
- Examine injuries to decide if an individual can continue with their daily activities safely
- Develop rehabilitation programs specifically for a sport injury
- Treat and mobilize injuries to alleviate pain
- Develop and execute prevention programs to support individuals
- Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals for additional treatments
REQUIREMENTS
- Massage therapist with previous experience working with athletes or alongside chiropractors are preferred, but not required.
- A Massage Education with a Certificate of Completion.
- Education/experience in trigger point, myofascial release, sports massage is a plus.
- Experience in deep tissue, stretch and sport massage
