Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional repair and maintenance services for a wide range of household appliances. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using detailed specifications, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Apply refrigeration principles when servicing cooling appliances or systems involving refrigerant handling
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for field service appointments while adhering to safety protocols
- Utilize electrical work skills to troubleshoot wiring issues or component failures in appliances
- Assemble appliances parts as needed before installation or repair procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, parts used, and diagnostics performed for each job
- Utilize company software
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or related field service roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components
- Familiarity with reading specifications, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex equipment
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, plumbing connections, electrical wiring, and power tools
- Experience operating company vehicles in a field service environment with a focus on safety and reliability
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Background working with maintenance, repair, operations (MRO) practices in a fast-paced setting is preferred
