Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Commercial Construction President to lead our organization’s construction division with energy, expertise, and strategic insight. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all commercial construction operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
- Oversee project development phases including bidding, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and execution to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
- Lead project teams by coordinating project managers, estimators, schedulers, and site supervisors to optimize productivity and quality standards.
- Manage client relationships by engaging in negotiations, contract management, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
- Implement best practices in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and other industry tools to enhance project tracking and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards across all sites while fostering a culture of safety awareness among staff.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and profitability.
Skills
- Extensive experience in commercial construction management with demonstrated success leading large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and software including HeavyBid; familiarity with project scheduling tools like Primavera P6 is essential.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction site operations.
- Expertise specifically in ground up development (Strip Centers/warehouse/flex space)
- Skilled in project coordination, time management, and resource allocation to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for document control and communication.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development, client engagement, and strategic planning within the heavy civil or commercial sectors. Pay: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
