General Duties:

Provide Level 1 technical support both in-person and remotely, utilizing screen-sharing and diagnostic tools to resolve hardware and software issues.

Perform hardware and software configuration, deployments, and troubleshooting for a fleet of macOS(primary) and Windows devices.

Utilize Mobile Device Management tools to push updates, install software, and enforce security policies.

Install, configure, and maintain school-wide printing equipment; diagnose mechanical and software-related print errors across macOS and Windows devices.

Provide in-person support for classroom display systems, including the maintenance and troubleshooting of projectors and Apple TVs.

Assist staff and students with iPad troubleshooting.

Maintain inventory and repair logs.

Continuously monitor the IT Help Desk ticketing system to ensure timely responses to staff requests.

Any other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Mobility & Dexterity: The employee is regularly required to stand and walk throughout the campus. Frequent reaching, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and crawling is required to access cables under desks or maintain equipment in tight spaces.-
Tool Usage: Continuous use of hand strength is required to grasp tools, manipulate small components, and perform repetitive tasks such as keyboard repairs or cabling.

Heights: The employee must be comfortable climbing and working from ladders to service ceiling-mounted projectors and wireless access points.

Lifting & Moving: The employee must frequently lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. For items exceeding 50 pounds (e.g., large-format printers, battery backups, or bulk hardware shipments), the employee is expected to use the provided assistive devices (dollies/carts) or request a team lift to ensure safety.

Vision: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision (essential for wiring and cable identification), and the ability to adjust focus.
