Job Summary
Arbor Associates is seeking a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our residential school team in Barre, MA. This position supports teenagers and preteens with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges in an overnight, weekend schedule. Must be able to travel to Arbor Associates' Southborough, MA office for two days of Advanced CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training during daytime hour

Friday – Sunday | 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Responsibilities

Provide overnight direct care and supervision to adolescent residents in a residential school setting

Support individuals with severe behavioral challenges using approved crisis intervention techniques

Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment throughout the overnight shift

Document observations and incidents in accordance with program requirements

Collaborate with the residential team to ensure continuity of care across shifts
Requirements
-
Prior experience in residential, behavioral health, or special education settings

Comfort and experience working with teenagers and preteens with challenging or severe behaviors

Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation

Ability to travel to Arbor Associates' Southborough, MA office for two days of Advanced CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training during daytime hours — scheduling will be coordinated upon hire

Ability to pass required background checks
