Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented US Licensed Custom Broker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the expert point of contact for customs clearance processes, ensuring seamless import and export operations in compliance with all federal regulations. Duties
- Manage and coordinate customs clearance procedures for imported and exported goods, ensuring compliance with all applicable US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations.
- Prepare and submit accurate customs documentation, including entry filings, manifests, and regulatory reports.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth transportation management and timely deliveries.
- Monitor changes in FDA regulations, OSHA standards, and other relevant compliance requirements affecting import/export activities.
- Conduct risk assessments related to customs compliance and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues or delays.
- Maintain detailed records of customs transactions, regulatory reporting, and audit documentation for compliance management purposes.
- Provide guidance on freight logistics, supply chain optimization, and fleet management to improve overall operational efficiency.
Skills
- Deep understanding of US Customs regulations, FDA requirements, OSHA standards, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience in logistics, transportation management, and supply chain operations.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to prepare clear documentation for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Excellent risk management capabilities to identify potential issues early and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of freight operations, fleet management practices, and transportation protocols is highly desirable.
