Eukon Group is a growing, mid-size company that specializes in all scopes of telecommunication development. Our specialty is in Wireless Cell Sites. We design and incorporate Cell sites into the built environment, on every type of real property, in all parts of Southern California and Hawaii.
We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter/Designer in our Irvine office with wireless telecom, NSB or MODs drafting experience.
Job Summary
AutoCAD drafting for wireless cellphone sites.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work related experience in wireless telecom industry (A&E) permit and construction drawings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with multiple layer standards and multiple scales with annotative objects within the same drawing
- Ability to read architectural blueprints, and understand & interpret construction drawings
- Prepare zoning drawings and construction drawings for presentation to client
- Layout and plan using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment, redesign/ modify as necessary
- Work within various internal departments and must be a team player in order to successfully complete projects
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple drafting projects with a strong attention to detail
Qualifications and Skills
- Quick learner
- Self-starter
- Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and complete background screening.
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience drafting (wireless telecommunications industry and NSB or Mods drafting experience preferred) with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work with little supervision in a fast-paced work environment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. ALL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE AN AUTOCAD TEST. CANDIDATES WITH A PASSING SCORE WILL BE CONTACTED FOR AN INTERVIEW.
Education:
Degree in drafting or equivalent work experience.
Required experience: 2-3 years of AutoCAD
