Job Overview
The A Plus Group, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team in Forsyth County. This position offers part-time hours, 5 evenings per week, and is essential in keeping our client spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms including toilets, sinks, partitions, and mirrors.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean interior glass surfaces including windows and mirrors.
- Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures).
- Secure the facility by locking doors and windows when not in use.
- Maintain and request cleaning supplies as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing methods.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in diverse environments.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.
Work Schedule
- Evenings | 5 days per week (Monday–Friday)
- 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- May include servicing multiple buildings in the area
