Responsibilities: Implement Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum units and attend all PLTW trainings and events as needed;Develop rigorous performance tasks aligned to curriculum frameworks; Plan and implement two to three-week units for all students; Facilitate student learning by creating lessons that engage students in real world Science, Technology, Math and Engineering problems;Work within every classroom throughout the school year. Create projects that require students to collaborate and use critical thinking skills;Create innovative lessons using interactive technology;Collaborate with classroom teachers to analyze student data to ensure priority content standards are addressed in rigorous and relevant lessons, projects, and tasksWork collaboratively with other STEM/STEAM teachers across the district to build a cohesive STEM curriculum for the district; Collaborate with EL teachers to support EL students and Special Education teachers to provide accommodations and modifications according to student IEPs.Perform duties and other responsibilities as directed by the building administration.
