Looking for an Operations and Content Assistant to help an artist/author with the many responsibilities of her growing business. She is seeking someone to drive forward digital commerce, organize projects, and help coordinate content.
About the Artist
The artist is an experienced content creator making videos to promote sales of products such as stickers, t-shirts, pins, as well as a collection of digital products. Over time, she has generated over 500,000 followers across multiple platforms. Recently, she has been signed for her first book contract and has a number of other large projects in the pipeline.
About the Role
Ideally, looking for someone who is creative, organized, and detail-oriented. In the near months, this job will lean heavily toward the digital commerce aspects of the business and work toward expanding production. Someone who has experience in marketing and social media is likely to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Merch and Brand Management
Content Creation Support
Administrative Assistance
- Catalog products and organize online shop
- Update website pages with new artworks
- Package and ship sales of online orders
- Coordinate merch drops
- Maintain inventory and detailed tracking
- Collaborate on new ideas
- Assist with email marketing campaigns
- Help coordinate outreach and partnerships
- Assisting in planning and publishing social media content
- Monitor comments and engagement
- Maintain monthly content calendar
- Assist the artist during local events
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must live in the LA, Ventura, or Orange County area: While this job can be mostly remote, the artist will need to meet with you on occasion for coordinating projects or transferring merch/product
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 1-2 years experience with digital marketing
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Experience with social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Patreon)
- Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, and Google Drive
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Part-time; Monday-Friday
- Approximately 20 hours a week (with room for growth over time)
- Pay range: $20-$24 per hour
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
