POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting Regional Director with Wellness staff education and development; Responsible for assisting the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing with achieving maximum occupancy of the communities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
A New York State and currently registered Licensed Professional or Registered Nurse
Experience:
Five years of related work and supervisory experience in the health care field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, inclusive of sitting, standing and bending, pushing, pulling or moving of objects and residents.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in developing and updating corporate Wellness education programs as directed;
- Conducts corporate Wellness education programs as directed including but not limited to medication training and wellness staff orientation program
- Provides first aid training and certification for Wellness staff
- Provides staff in-service education as directed
- Builds relationships with professionals in the healthcare field to develop referrals and increase move-ins
- Builds relationships within the local community to develop referrals and increase move-ins
- Works with the Arcadia communities to monitor the status of residents who are in the hospital, short-term rehabilitation, etc. through in-person visits and discussions with the healthcare providers;
- Evaluates resident’s ability to return to Arcadia communities prior to return from hospitalization, short-term rehabilitation, etc., as directed;
- Compiles reports as directed;
- Attends meetings as requested including corporate wellness and marketing meetings;

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
