Quality Technician - General Manufacturing Labor Responsibilities:
- Works with the production manager, Engineering and QC manger to make sure all machines have proper and current job books
- Must be able to use hand measuring devices (calipers / micrometers etc.) and learn and use Optical Comparator
- Ensure first piece inspection are completed in a timely manner
- Must be proficient at reading part prints including length, diameters, perpendicularity, parallelism, and surface finishes with an understanding of GD&T, machine setup instruction sheets (MSIS) and machine production inspection instructions (MPII)
- Help making sure all gauges are certified and set properly (calibrated / Gage Pak) when notified by calibration system
- Help with implementing and teaching GPP Quality Red Tag Policy and Procedures
- Be willing and able to be utilized in areas of GPP and possible interactions with customers.
Quality Tech - General Manufacturing Labor Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Good communication skills (verbal / written)
- Experience in quality in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and /or move up to 10 pounds as needed
- Must have ability to focus and pay attention to detail (prints) and perform multiple tasks with importance of priority
- Must have a valid driver’s license along with reliable transportation to and from work
- Must wear protective equipment such as safety eye & hearing protection (in designated areas), and safety-toe non-slip boots/shoes
- Must provide United States work authorization.
