CNC Programmer/Machinist
The position of CNC Programmer will serve as the Technical Leader for a well-established precision machine shop.
The ideal candidate for this position will be someone with more than 15-20 years of experience programming CNC Machines using Mastercam, experience with HAAS and Fanuc controls, as well as experience with both low volume and production. Experience with Mazatrol desired.
This position will supervise two or more programmer/machinists. Will coordinate and work closely with operations manager and high-volume/low-mix products (10% of time) but will primarily work on low volume/high-mix products (90% of time).
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of machining all material types.
Experience with both milling and turning required.
Multi-axis experience desired, not required.
Must be well versed in metrology methods.
Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Must have experience with setting up and running First Articles.
Experience with fixturing and tool/die work desired, not required.
Must be able to lead technology advances and engage others.
Must have good to great interpersonal skills and work well with all levels of the organization.
We are looking for a professional person that is also highly technical.
Quarterly bonus on agreed upon objectives.
This is a hands-on position. You must be able to machine parts, not just program.
Must speak fluent English.
