Position Overview:
We are seeking caring, dependable, and professional individuals to join our team as In-Home Non-Medical Caregivers. This role involves providing companionship and assistance with daily living activities for seniors, helping them maintain their independence while enjoying the comfort of their own home.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up)
- Meal preparation and light cooking
- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments
- Support with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, dressing) as needed
- Medication reminders (no administering medications)
- Monitor client well-being and report changes to supervisor
Requirements:
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required – we provide training
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Register as a Home Care Aide
- TB Clearance
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Availability for some evenings/overnights, weekends, or holidays a plus
