Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, providing detailed product demos to showcase features and benefits.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts.
- Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and offering tailored recommendations to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts, ensuring products are well-organized and appealing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person, resolving issues promptly with a positive attitude.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, manage stock levels, and assist with inventory replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving sales goals.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar environments.
- Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and cashiering duties efficiently.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions at all touchpoints.
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team.
