Compensation: $21.00–$24.00/hour, plus company vehicle, fuel card, and maintenance covered
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Location: On the road — daily travel to building departments throughout California (~80% of role)

Energuy is a leader in HVAC compliance and ECC/HERS Testing across California. We're growing fast and looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to manage our permit process on the ground — this is an administrative role that happens to take place in the field, not a technical or trades position.
About the Role
You'll be the face of Energuy at local building departments — submitting permit applications, picking up approved permits, and troubleshooting issues in person. When you're not on the road, you're supporting our Permit team with research, filing, and communication to keep jobs moving. This role is ideal for someone who's organized, comfortable driving between locations daily, and good at building rapport with department staff.
What You'll Do
- Submit and pick up permits at building departments across California
- Research permit requirements and resolve issues directly with department staff
- Coordinate daily with the Field Manager and Permit team on job priorities and status
- Provide administrative support: answering phones, emailing, mailing permits, filing digital and physical documents
- Respond to contractor requests and correspondence promptly and accurately
- Maintain organized records and reports
- Give and receive feedback professionally as part of a fast-paced team
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean record and 5+ years of licensed driving experience (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and locations in a single day
- A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership without needing constant direction
- Stable job history preferred
