Hills Valley Floral has a part-time opening for an outgoing sales associate with retail sales experience. Duties include answering phones and assisting customers with orders, receiving orders from online service and processing the order requests for the designers. Computer skills a must. Will be using a web based POS program. Will also be assisting walk in customers with purchases. Will assist delivery drivers with organizing and packing their delivery van. This position will float between the design room and the sales area. Will assist floral designers with various tasks as needed such as receiving new shipment of flowers & plants, floral care of inventory, washing vases & containers, watering and caring for plants, consolidating current inventory before receiving new. You will also learn basic floral design. Must be able to prioritize your time effectively. There are a lot of moving parts and this can be a very fast paced shop. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, must be able to lift 50 pounds, and must be able to handle stairs as our store room is in a basement.
