2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shift base schedule. Overtime and Friday shifts as needed.
2nd Shift also pays a 15% shift premium on top of the base wage.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for assembling control panels according to prints.
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, or willingness to obtain a GED if not already completed.
- 2+ years of relevant manufacturing, mechanical assembly, fabrication, machine building, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience preferred, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Math and reading skills required.
- Ability to utilize the internal ERP system required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with common hand and power tools.
- Experience reading mechanical prints, assembly drawings, layouts, or other technical documentation.
- Experience accurately measuring, drilling, tapping, fastening, and mechanically assembling components preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, mechanical prints, layouts, and work instructions to complete assigned builds.
- Assemble standard products and increasingly complex or custom mechanical panel assemblies with limited supervision.
- Accurately measure and locate components according to prints and established specifications.
- Perform mechanical assembly operations including drilling, tapping, cutting, fastening, mounting, and component installation.
- Proficiently use hand and power tools, torque wrenches, rulers, squares, jigs, fixtures, and other measuring and assembly equipment.
- Select and properly use appropriate tools, fasteners, and hardware for assigned work.
- Identify potential fit, alignment, clearance, material, or assembly issues before they impact the completed build.
- Recognize discrepancies between prints, materials, and the physical build and seek clarification or escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve routine mechanical assembly problems within the scope of training and experience.
- Inspect completed work for proper component placement, alignment, fastening, and overall workmanship.
- Support basic electrical assembly activities as required and within the scope of training.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality and quantity of work produced.
- Enter work hours and required production information into the ERP system (GSS).
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and maintain established housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Assist and share knowledge with less-experienced Panel Builders when appropriate.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
