Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager to lead innovative design projects from conception through completion. Duties
- Project Shop drawings and submittals
- Lead the planning and execution of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements
- Develop detailed project schedules using project management tools and monitor progress to meet deadlines effectively
- Coordinate with design teams utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Blue Beam, and ArchiCAD to produce accurate construction documents and visualizations
- Oversee construction estimating processes and assist in budgeting to ensure project profitability and resource allocation
- Manage contracts and negotiate terms with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to foster strong professional relationships
- Utilize Bluebeam for document review, markups, and collaboration across project teams
- Conduct site visits for renovation or new construction projects to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with design intent
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders through presentations, reports, and meetings to maintain transparency and momentum
- Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, and identifying new project opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing architectural projects from initial concept through construction completion with a focus on commercial or residential developments
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Plan Swift, and Bluebeam software
- Excellent skills in project scheduling, construction management, budgeting, and contract negotiation
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and experience overseeing renovation projects or interior design initiatives
- Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and permitting processes in various jurisdictions
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration
- Experience with NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination is a plus
- A degree in Architecture or related field is required; licensure as an Architect is preferred but not mandatory
