We are an established clerical services company serving the legal community, with multiple office locations and a reputation for exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company and help ensure the continued success of our business.
This is a hands-on management position that requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The successful candidate will work primarily from our headquarters while visiting our satellite offices periodically.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple office locations.
- Manage company satellite offices, including lease agreements and property-related matters.
- Visit satellite offices on a regular basis (approximately once per month) to ensure operational consistency.
- Manage Human Resources functions, including employee relations, hiring support, payroll, and personnel matters.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Manage payroll processing and company-wide administrative functions.
- Oversee company-wide email communications and internal correspondence.
- Handle customer service issues, including resolving customer disputes professionally.
- Address employee concerns and assist in resolving workplace issues.
- Oversee advertising and marketing initiatives.
- Supervise product manufacturing, fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management.
- Purchase office supplies, manufacturing supplies, equipment, and other operational necessities.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and capital purchases.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, business licenses, permits, and other corporate filing requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and pay company expenses.
- Provide leadership across departments and assist with operational duties as needed.
- Be willing to step into various roles to support the business when necessary.
- Supervise a division of the company operating as a small insurance agency.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration required.
- Current Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Surplus Lines Insurance License required.
- Previous management operations experience required.
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources, payroll, accounting, and business operations.
- Experience managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
- Willingness to travel locally to company office locations on a regular basis.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively with employees, clients, vendors, and business partners.
