Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented Experienced Cabinet Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes to custom cabinets, ensuring a high-quality, smooth, and durable surface that meets our exacting standards. Your expertise in various finishing techniques, materials handling, and equipment operation will contribute to delivering exceptional products to our clients.
We have a 4 day work week, Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 4:00pm.
Duties
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finish adhesion.
- Apply finishes using paint spraying equipment with precision and consistency.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify finish quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including finish room, equipment, proper disposal of waste materials and materials handling procedures.
- Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cabinet finisher or in a similar manufacturing finishing role.
- Proficiency in painting & staining techniques, ability to match colors and record formulas.
- Familiarity with manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Ability to read tape measure & basic math measurements accurately for precise finishing work.
- Knowledge of machining processes, fabrication techniques, and the use of precision measuring instruments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the use of power tools, forklifts, and industrial stains & paints.
