The FYI Center Specialist will service as direct care personnel and assist with supervising the children staying at the center. Responsibilities will include conducting visual inspections of children and their living areas, complete daily activities related to the upkeep of the facility (including light cleaning), complete intake processes, participate in engaging recreational activities with the children, and teach independent living skills when appropriate. The FYI Specialist will be under the supervision of the FYI center Lead Care Coordinator, Director, and Chief Deputy Probation Officer.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrates an understanding of cultural values and norms.

Knowledgeable about culturally specific resources available within the local community and state.

Sensitivity and understanding of barriers experienced by children in accessing resources and/or engaging in services.
