Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Crew Leader to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing demolition crews in the field, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate is reliable, experienced in demolition, and capable of leading by example while maintaining strong communication with both the team and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise demolition crews on residential and commercial projects
- Operate company trucks and transport equipment to and from job sites
- Safely operate specialized demolition equipment (skid steers, excavators, saws, etc.)
- Execute selective and structural demolition work according to project scope
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
- Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and workflow with management
- Identify and resolve on-site challenges efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in demolition, construction, or related field
- Experience with concrete cutting and structural demolition preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and specialized tools
- Strong understanding of job site safety practices and procedures
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in demanding conditions
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Florida driver’s license (clean driving record required)
