1 overnight shift every other weekend -- with potential for some additional hours, if desired.
Seeking a part-time additional team member to assist with a single shift of overnight coverage for approximately 11-16 hours per week. If desired, there is potential for some additional hours during the week to help cover staff vacation and leave time.
Staff care for 8 mild-mannered, developmentally disabled men living in a family-type home environment in Jonesville. Many of the residents have lived at the home for much of their lives.
Shift: every other Saturday - overnight coverage. Shift starts at 1:00 pm Saturday afternoon and concludes at Noon on Sunday. There is sleep time built into the shift.
Duties:
This team member would be responsible for interacting with the residents, preparing meals, performing various household tasks, administering medication and assisting with minor resident self-care, as well as facilitating some activities . This position does require a shift of overnight coverage (which is paid sleep time).
Benefits:
$15/hour for the part-time position.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Ability to complete a medical clearance, TB test and drug screen
· Completion and clearance of required criminal background checks including fingerprinting and drug testing.
