American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 3-room inpatient/outpatient/ER unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency in cardiac, bone scan, and thyroid studies.

3-room Nuclear Medicine unit serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients
-
Average of 13–15 patients per day
-
Procedures include cardiac studies, bone scans, liver/spleen scans, lung scans, thyroid studies, tumor localization, and myocardial imaging
-
Preferred procedure experience includes brain scans, renal flow, and SPECT
-
Siemens equipment preferred
-
Cerner EMR — experience required
-
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
-
Hours may vary depending on workload
-
Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility is required
-
Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
-
Current BLS certification (AHA and RQI accepted)
-
ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
-
IN or Compact state license required if applicable

Proficiency with IV starts and PACS
-
Experience with Cerner EMR required

2 supervisor references required for consideration

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Any current or former permanent or PRN employee of IU Health must have a 12-month gap before applying as a traveler

Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health must take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — 90 days for out-of-state residents and 180 days for in-state residents
